The power of variables

One of the most powerful feautures of Base is our variable system. Variables allow you to easily create helpful articles for multiple companies at once, while only having to write and edit one time.

To get started with variables:

Start writing an article. Variables can fit in to almost any type of article, but they are especially powerful when writing articles like step-by-step guides and tutorials for your clients. You can write a helpful article, and then simply "inject" the company-specific information in to it.

Start off by writing an article using a defined variable. In this case, we are using WEBMAIL_URL:

Then, go in to a company that you want to place the article in, and create a new variable:

After this, you just need to attach the article you wrote to the company, and then just let the magic happen :)
